Suspended Forum Account: Information and Appeal Procedure

Our moderators ensure compliance with community rules to guarantee a safe and pleasant environment for all users. When a member violates these rules, their account may be suspended. These measures aim to maintain the quality of exchanges on our platform and ensure mutual respect among community members.

Why Can an Account Be Suspended?

An account may be suspended for various reasons, including but not limited to:

• Violation of community rules (offensive remarks, harassment, threats, etc.).
• Spam or excessive posting disrupting the forum’s operation.
• Using multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
• Sharing illegal or inappropriate content.
• Failure to comply with moderator instructions after warnings.

Our moderators carefully review each infraction before making a suspension decision. If you believe your suspension is unfair, you may follow the appeal procedure described below.

Suspension and Appeal Possibilities

Indefinite Suspensions

Only accounts suspended with the mention "This is an indefinite suspension" can be appealed. This means that the suspension has no set duration and is not lifted automatically. If you believe your suspension is unjustified or wish to have a second chance, you may submit an appeal request.

Temporary Suspensions

Temporary suspensions are applied for a defined period. They cannot be appealed, except if you believe they are unjustified. In all other cases, you must wait for the suspension period to end, which is indicated at the bottom of the suspension message.

Appeal Procedure

If you are eligible to appeal a suspension, please contact us using the email address associated with your suspended account. Your request must include:

1. Your username and the email address linked to the account.
2. A clear explanation of why you believe your suspension should be reviewed.
3. Any supporting evidence for your request (moderation error, specific context, commitment to following the rules in the future, etc.).

Be honest and respectful in your request. A well-reasoned and politely written appeal is more likely to be reviewed favorably.

Processing Time and Final Decision

Our team carefully reviews each appeal. We commit to responding within 24 to 48 hours. Sending multiple messages or following up too soon will not speed up the process.

Each appeal will result in a final decision. Once made, the decision cannot be contested. If your appeal is accepted, your account will be reinstated with or without additional restrictions. If denied, the suspension will remain in place.
